Personality:_{Don’t be fooled by his punk rock looks and “frightening” clothing- Hotch is the definition of a sweetheart. He may not be super social, but he will help anyone if they are truly sincere. He’s lovable and a gentleman, as he was born in a family that stressed manners. He likes being respectable to ladies, and even does it old school, like opening doors for them, and carrying heavy things. He loves his Pokemon like they’re his children, and will treat them like people as well. He’s modest of his skills, never boasting or even complaining of loses. He will never put someone down by skills or their Pokemon. But, he can be pretty naive in the world, definitely of actually getting with woman. He’s a horrid flirt, as well, so he won’t even try to. The closest thing that could be seen as flirting to other ladies is being really nice (which he already is) or making perverted jokes, which he’s surprisingly good at and does often. But, those looks can get to him- he’s not into social events and can get his feeling hurt easily. He can be considered “dumb” in a lot of cases if they aren’t in the arena.}

Brief History:_{Born in Hoenn, Hotchner was only raised by his mother in Lilycove as his father died while he was only one from sickness and his brother was out on his own Pokemon Journey. The family wasn’t rich, nor where they poor, but Hotch often never really got the things he wanted, and often used any type of escapism to leave his realities, from excessive eating to never sleeping due to an odd fear of never waking up again. But, he was strictly under his mother’s wing the old school ways and learned to live with it- one being extremely courteous to women. His life seemed to be normal yet twisted up to reaching five years old, where in August, he got his first Pokemon from his brother back in Johto to fulfill he dream of becoming a Trainer. Now with his new Eevee and best friends Vanderbelt, or just V and Van for short, he started to train under the school, but didn’t like the way they taught things. All he needed to know was the basics, not how to battle… The only way he knew how to battle was from Contests. As his mother was a Coordinator with their family pet, a Growlithe named Juno, he’d often spend a lot of time at the Contest Hall, watching Acts like Moves, Battles, and Appeals. This is where he often gets his unique way of using Pokemon moves from. Absorbing all his time into teaching V the skills he knows today and becoming tired of regular life, he started slipping in his grades, and eventually just dropped out at the end of 11th grade to start his journey, as he just turned 18. The only true reason he left to become a Trainer like he wanted to since he was five was to be like his brother (Bro or Big Bro, as he calls him), who was deemed legendary in his eyes. He is his top role model, and wants nothing more to become like him. Gathering only three Pokemon in Hoenn (it was all he needed, he said), he decided to try his hand at the 6XL before going up the Tournament for Hoenn to fight the Champion Wallace.}

Misc:_{- Birthday: June 3rd
- Only has one tattoo, which is on the side of his neck ( leopard print trails )
- He knows how to play many stringed instruments, even violin/viola, and cello
- He’s scared shitless of Bugs, definitely really big ones like Galvatula or Scoliopede. He's also afraid of Ghost types if they're malicious or play tricks like most do. He'll only like them if they're small/cute, definitely if they're really fluffy
- Has slight insomnia. He can only sleep for 2-3 hours a day. This comes from his unknown and odd childhood fear of “closing his eyes and to never open them again”. This is likely due to being around many Ghost Pokemon due to living near Mt. Pyre.
- With his insomnia, he tends to eat a lot. Luckily he has high metabolism so his body can handle all the things happening to it.
- Can sometimes be seen as “ taken over by Vanderbelt”. He denies this, as the only time he does follow his Flareon about is when he got them in trouble.
- Has many piercings, ones that can’t be seen when wearing regular clothing
- Likes Rubix cubes- it can be called an escapism for him as well
- He also has a nice singing voice (can be very soft as well) but he only sings in his lonesome
- His favorite food is ice cream: more specifically, mint chocolate chip, may add brownie if it’s a good day
- He’s not bony at all- he has a slight athletic build due to traveling (like that of an Olympic swimmer)
- He REALLY like accessorizing his Pokemon- it was a habit he gained after dressing up Juno so much as she never objected
- Currently lives in an apartment complex with no roommate(s), which he prefers- he dislikes sharing space with other people he doesn’t trust.
- Though it may be seen as cute or embarrassing, he always sleeps with his Cradily, Baby Doll. It was a habit she formed when he first got her as she was just a baby, and still is

Name: Vanderbelt the III (V/Vee)

Species: Flareon

_{V is seen as very cocky and confident, and always wants to be on top. He is also a troublemaker, and gets Hotch into all kinds of scenarios, definitely if it involves women, a subject Hotch is horrid at. He’s totally hasty and rash in his action, and never thinks of the consequences of the future. He thinks, no joke, he’s the shit- he’ll try to hit on any girl who’s compatible with him and will instantly try to “get in their pants” if he can get close enough… or if they’re just good looking. But, despite his negative traits, he’s seen as hilarious, and is praised by Hotch for being his right hand man and getting him through many tight situations that weren’t caused by him. To those he likes, he’s loyal and protective, though he will never admit it or show it on a daily basis. He can also take a pounding to his ego quite hard, and will slump for days if the beating’s hard enough.}

_{V is Hotchner’s first Pokémon given to him at the age five. Originally from Johto, he was given to Hotch’s older brother by a man as a gift for saving him, as well as he had too many Eevees. Hearing far back in Hoenn that Hotchner wanted to become a Trainer just like him, he took it upon himself to give his Eevee to Hotchner, now named Vanderbelt the Third (III). But as Hotch was young, he just simply called him V or Van. Ever since, they were inseparable, going all over the place with each other, even school. Travelling Hoenn when Hotch decided to leave Lilycove at 18 years old, he soon evolved into a Flareon after a disaster in the Magma Pass, causing him to come in contact with heaps of Firestone and make him evolve, even as he had an Everstone in contact as well.}

Misc:_{- Is seen as the leader/ Main Attacker and Hinderer of the team
- Is never in his Pokeball
- His Pokeball is always with Hotch just in case- it is a Johto exclusive ball, the Friend Ball
- He takes a lot of pride in his mane, and gets very pissy if one tries to touch it besides Hotch, or gets it dirty/tousled
- Favorite food is ice cream: more specifically, chocolate with brownies. This proves as a problem since it’s still toxic to him, but since he’s a Fire type and it just burns up the toxic, he‘s immuned. But if he eats too bunch, to defused toxins used for his Smog build up and eventually get him sick.
- Quarrels with Baghdad a lot, but deep inside loves him like a grandfather and highly respects him
- Though he likes sleeping on clothing that has Hotch’s scent, he has his own doggie bed at home}

Gender: Male

_{Baghdad it the true example of “all work no play”. The beautiful Milotic is stoic in all ways- barely does he show emotion, and if it is, it’s usually just anger or irritation. He trains the other members of the team alongside Hotch, and gets trained by him as well, due to his years in the field. He’s not gullible, and will often stay aloof or threatening to strangers, including Pokémon. Bribery is dead on him, and he will often get angry if you do try to. This causes Hotch to never try to force anything upon the old timer. But, he is loyal, and if you manage to get on his good side, you may be considered an “acquaintance”. He’s diligent, hardy, and always has his eye out for the goal. Second best never works for him or that team he raised with Hotchner- it’s either all or nothing.}

Misc:_{- Plays the role of “Support/Slight Attack” in the team. Also the Sub- Leader of the team.
- VERY old- nobody knows exactly how old, but many people in the village around the river where he once lived where in their 80’s and 90’s talking about how they saw him in their childhood.
- Even though he is old, he’s still very skilled and fluid in battle- and don’t take his looks for granted either, he’s very vicious in battle
- Those glasses are NOT a held item. Baghdad has bad vision due to old age, and somehow, Hotch thought it was a good idea to get the damn fish some glasses. They are hard to knock off as well.
- He uses his “fin/eyebrow hands” to do many things, though he doesn’t use them in battles to attack and can’t write.
- Gets along with Baby Doll very well, and sees of her as a daughter/granddaughter
- Though he may be old and train the team as well, he treats Hotchner with utmost respect and knows his place- he even likes him to pet him at times and lays on the couch at home with him

Name: Baby Doll (Bee Dee)

Species: Cradily

Gender: Female

Nature: Bashful
_{As a baby, she can be extremely shy and is scared of almost anything. She will often hide to stay away from others she doesn’t know, even if they happen to be friendly. But, once she warms up to others, she’s quite a sweetheart, and does the cutest things due to her “age”, like cuddling and giving baby-like gurgles. She likes to play and romp about with all things, but often doesn’t know her own size and power. With that, she’s naïve and can be seen as confused when she does thing wrong. Baby Doll is as well sensitive, and can cry over the smallest things. She isn’t considered spoiled to Hotch, be he doesn’t see it since he IS the one spoiling her. But, he had to teach her very hard to not cry and become scared in mid battle if she gets hurt badly of misses an attack. This often makes him think of it was alright to put her in professional battling, but since she shows a talent at it, he’s determined to help her with her shortcomings.}

- Hates fighting all together, but if she becomes focused, she’ll actually do well
- Despite her large size, when regenerated, the scientist said she was actually pretty young for a creature that lived millions of years ago, only a baby when placed in fossil form. If one were to calculate correctly, she’d be only “4” years old if she were human. This causes Hotch to baby her excessively, which also explains her name.
- Gets teased constantly by V, only to be protected constantly by Baghdad
- She get along with Baghdad very well, and he actually considers her a daughter/granddaughter of sorts
- She loves human food as well, but it can get her very sick- which includes her favorite human food, mint ice cream with brownies and/or chocolate chips, Hotch’s favorite as well
- She sleeps in the bed with Hotch all the time, even with her size and weight
- Loves being accessorized, like a little girl would, and loves the daisy bow Hotch first gave her when they met face to face at the lab
- Don’t be fooled by her cute acts- she’s extremely powerful and big, and can hurt others smaller than her very easily
- One of her bad habits is doing Cradily hugs- wrapping her tentacles around a friend/victim’s head and squeezing EXTREMELY hard. Regular Cradily would be able to handle this habit, but it can even knock a human unconscious and cause her to likely start crying or get very confused.
- Remember- she is a BABY. Hotch is also very protective of her, acting more like a mother than a father of sorts.}
